A Tribute to our Troops! It occured to me that I couldn't remember (but that doesn't mean nobody else is doing it) seeing any cosmetic companies ever stopping and paying tribute to our troops and their families with a special palette of colors! Regardless of where you stand politically, we must always remember that these brave people and their families are the ones defending our country and keeping us safe from foreign and domestic threats as well as all of the other responsibilities they have to endure! I can't imagine putting my entire life on hold as these heroes do, and so, on behalf of my husband and I, would like to let you know just how amazing I think you are. Whether soldier, or family member, and all things in between, I hope that you know we are thinking about you daily and praying for your constant safety and well-being!!! This little collection of colors is just a small token of gratitude from my family to you and yours!!!

Utterly Fabulous Fall Raise your hand if Autumn is your favorite time of year! ME ME ME!! Granted, it has been a pretty pathetic Summer here in the Chi-town area and I could have used a few more warm days...but I know they might still be out there. However...I must confess that Fall, and all of her majestic, rich tones is my favorite time of year! Admittedly when the clock strikes midnight and August offically begins, something happens to my brain and I go into color mode. It's true!!! If you go back in color history, Fall is when I simply can not stop myself from launching all sorts of fabulous new shades, and this year is no different. Utterly Fabulous Fall is made up of all the rich, sexy tones that suddenly start to show up in trees, and clothing with a few little shots of color as an added fun twist on the norm. As we mentally start to put away the soft sorbet shades of Summer and suddenly begin to transform into delicious, and luxurious little butterflies we just can't help but start to crave a bold new palette of shades for our eyes. In every collection, I generally try to keep the palette pretty reasonable in size so as not to overwhelm you, but this season I just couldn't help myself, so grab a glass of wine or tea and enjoy the Utterly Fabulous Fall!
